I tried placing the screen inside of a box and then building a second, tapered box that would fit inside and cover the rim. That failed miserably.
I tried sticking individual cardboard tabs onto the screen, but couldn’t get them to fit seamlessly together.
After a few more attempts with the tapered box idea, I decided to build my own box with a fake inner wall. Success!
