I’m brainstorming ways to allow people to use new technology with old technology:

- printing press – computer (letterpress kerning)

- alarm clock/clock radio – cell phone alarm
- doorbell – buzzer
- slides – digital photographs
- candles – light bulb
- musical instruments – midi
- encyclopedias – wikipedia
- newspaper – twitter (have to open newspaper to read tweets)
- money – credit cards, paypal
- records…iTunes – Spotify (cassette adapter antenna, play cassette through computer, speaker phone (iPhone headphone jack into boom box))
- books – internet
- card catalog – internet, electronic catalogs
- phone book – Facebook
- answering machine – voicemail, twitter, Siri (voicemail alert, recording to answer voicemails with)
- fax machine – scanners/email
- broadcast television – YouTube, Hulu, Netflix
- live radio – podcasts, Spotify radio
- cash registers – Square
